I live in a two-room house with my wife. The main room was small and it required a change to give us the comfort that we deserved. I remodeled the master bedroom, which had a wall that served as separation for a bathroom that was an incomplete project.
That wall caused us discomfort and in addition to that, the room was very dark and small. Then my wife and I decided to tear down the wall to expand the space. While the wall collapsed we started to project the location of the furniture in the room, which filled me with excitement and joy, we saw the room in a different way, more spacious, more comfortable and brighter. We were anxious to finish the work as soon as possible, as we had to sleep in the other room, and we were uncomfortable because all the furniture from the main room were in that little room where we were sleeping.
Remodeling the room took four days to complete, and when everything was ready we started with the details, we painted the room with a light green color and white which represent an atmosphere of relaxation and peace. After painting and relocating the room furniture we were excited because the room looked more spacious, beautiful, and full of light. Now it has a very nice atmosphere.
Before the remodeling there was only a place to locate the bed, the dresser and other things, now we can put them wherever we want. The process was somewhat stressful because to tear down the wall it was necessary to use a big hammer and it produced a lot of noise.
In addition, there was a lot of dust throughout the house and we had to cover the furniture with sheets. My wife was desperate because she is a cleaning maniac. The remodeling was necessary because we believe that the room should provide the necessary comfort when resting. Despite all this, we can say that we enjoy and love our new room.
